Community Auctions is so proud to announce our new nationwide partnership with IHG Army Hotels.  IHG Army Hotels provide a unique hotel experience for military families. IHG hotels are located right on post at 40 posts across the United States.   Most of the hotels are brands we are all familiar with, Candlewood Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge Suites, and a few Historia Collection hotels, buildings converted to preserve their rich historical significance to the Army.

Often staffed by retired military personnel, IHG Army Hotels are in a unique position to understand the special needs of military families.  Geared to allow family time before deployment and during breaks from active service, IGH Army hotels understand the complexities and stresses of being on base.  They work hard to make sure that a family stay at an IHG Army Hotel is a real family vacation.  The hotels welcome children and even family pets.

IHG Army Hotels have the mission of  “ A Higher Rank of Hospitality”.  They support that mission with the usual amenities found in name-brand hotels–complimentary hot breakfast, fitness centers, and guest laundry facilities–but also help families with weekly socials with other military families sharing similar experiences.  IHG Army Hotels will also help families organize special outings to local tourist sites, often providing a free shuttle service to and from the outing.  Of course, many families just want time together—and the hotels recognize that with fun playgrounds and pools for all to enjoy.
