May Newsletter

Beautiful May has finally arrived and we are breathing a collective sigh of relief—Spring is here to stay with little chance of another freeze. We are celebrating the rebirth of plants, birds, and animals and optimism. With the new year in full bloom, it’s time to look back at our accomplishments thus far.

We have made incredible progress with our strategic partnerships. We have been partnered with IHG Army Hotels since April in support of Tunnnels to Towers (https://communityauctions.com/uncategorized/april-ihg-army-hotels-in-support-of-tunnels-to-towers-foundation/) and are thrilled with this new partnership. We have set up an easel program in most Walgreens stores in Arkansas recently in support of the Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock (https://communityauctions.com/uncategorized/walgreens-in-support-of-little-rock-ronald-mcdonald-house-charity/) and continue our partnership with the American Cancer Society, with the goal of raising $150,000 for them this year. We have been busy bees in the non-profit garden this spring at Community Auctions and have raised just under $275,000 for our charity partners.

May is a month for so many personal and family celebrations as well—May Day, Cinco de Mayo Mother’s Day, Graduations, and of course May the Fourth. With that, May the force of positive thinking and actions be with you this Spring and carry us all into a season of joy and beauty.
