Thanks to our generous customers Community Auctions has been able to raise over $915,000 for Local Charities in 2020. Our Charity Events continue to contribute to community focused nonprofits & effectively raise funds for their crucial philanthropic work. 

Fall has arrived nationwide with cooler weather, changing leaves, and a return to the new normal for many Americans. Despite the changes we've faced the need for charitable giving has continued to be a vitally important part of supporting our communities. People all across the country have answered the call to help with their time and their pocketbooks.

Charitable giving in the first half of 2020 increased by almost 7.5% over the first half of 2019. That marks a big shift from the beginning of the Pandemic, when giving was 6% behind the same period in 2019. The second quarter also marked a five-year high in the number of donors and contributions. The number of small donations under $250 increased 19.2% over the first six months of last year.

These statistics show the resolve and committment of millions of Americans to be the helping hand when times are difficult. As we begin the season of giving, Community Auctions encourages all our valued family to continue to band together for those in need. We continue to work with charities across the United States to provide a reliable fundraising platform so they can continue their vital work in local communities.

The upcoming election is a reminder that we, as citizens, play an active role in our society by simply getting involved and voting. Voting is one of the primary ways that demands for change are translated into action.
