Community Auctions is happy to highlight our partnership with Planet Fitness this month. They have raised just under $7000 for local charities from various locations around the country.   We are excited to share their devotion to the health of their communities, as well as their gym members.

Planet Fitness is devoted to making a gym membership affordable for everyone.  For the past 30 years, they have maintained a $10 basic membership—one of the few prices that haven’t gone up despite inflation.  This makes the judgment-free, no-frills gym membership accessible to the 80% of Americans who do not belong to a gym.  Planet Fitness is able to maintain this entry-level membership by offering more expensive memberships to members who wish to add extra features, but the goal of Planet Fitness is exactly what the name implies–fitness opportunities for everyone.“The longer I can stay at $10 the better off I am to get people off the couch, give fitness a try and continue to drive more value in the Black Card,” said Christopher Rondeau, CEO of Planet Fitness.

Heart health is so strongly linked to overall fitness and longevity.
